When I Dream of Margate

This painting is of significant size and one I enjoyed working on. Reason being, it was based on a memory and paintings I had previously completed beforehand. Originally this was titled ‘Margate Harbour – Winter Sunset VII‘ but I renamed it ‘When I Dream of Margate‘ as I knew it was more about a visionary idea I had when attempting to encapsulate Margate Harbour in all its glory without any aid to visual references
