Born in Glasgow in 1971, I was educated at Dane Court Grammar secondary school in Broadstairs, Kent before undertaking a professional football career with Millwall Football Club in London. My achievements in football moved me around various places in the UK including residencies abroad in North Carolina and Virginia, USA. A serious injury in Virginia forced my retirement from competitive football but this also marked my academic studies in Art at the University of Richmond, Virginia (1993) followed by a BA Hons (1997) and Masters Degree (2000) in Fine Art at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent. I have exhibited my work for many years both locally and in London and my work is represented in private collections throughout the UK, United States of America, Greece and Turkey.
